Every Story Connects & Gives Back

Every Bug & Bear book is part of a bigger story.
Some connect in wild ways. Some spark brand-new ideas.
All are powered by imagination—and right now, during the Faye’s Foil launch, they’re connecting to something even bigger: our Story Shapers’ communities.

Through June 30th, 75% of all royalties go straight to the schools, libraries, and clubs our co-creators choose.

So explore the series. Find your family’s next favorite.
And know that every story you buy helps shape the next one—and supports a local cause along the way.

Presenting

Book Five: “Faye’s Foil”

A bug. A blade. A battle for who you’re meant to be.

Faye’s a firefly.
A fencer.
A rule-follower.
She trains to defend her king’s way—no flair, no fanfare, no mistakes.

But when a fearless archer named Bea steps up and does things differently… something in Faye flickers.

Now she has a choice:
Keep doing what she’s told.
Or do the one thing she’s never been taught—
shine on her own terms.

This is a book about obedience, performance, and the itch to make your own kind of magic.

Not everyone will clap.
But some will finally see you—and you might finally see yourself.

Behind the Story

Faye’s Foil is our first co-created book.
The readers helped shape the theme. The words. The world.
They cracked the story open. I just followed the glow.

But underneath all that?

This one’s about me.
Or you.
Probably both.

Every time we shrank.
Every time we dimmed our light to stay liked.
Every time we “did it right” and still felt wrong.

Faye is the version of us who trained so hard to be perfect she almost missed the point.
Bea is the version that show’s us it’s ok to take a more beautiful route and stick a different landing.

The crowd? They know it when they see it.
The win? It’s not the prize you think it is.
